Description Helmet type hat. Crown is hard and rounded. Brim at back is wide and angled to protect neck. Has metal details (as in "costume decoration spike" at top, knobs at sides to help face protector swing). Pink sateen covers crown and outside incl. Decorative details. Has trim around bottom. Lining of helmet is made out of red cotton. Brim is lined with green cotton. Bottom of crown has hat band made out of oil skin.
Provenance Found in Odd Fellows Hall - Princeton. Used in Morality Plays - early 20th Century.
