Scope & Content Made of Paper/Ink. There is a soldier sitting in a battle field where the battle is over, smoking a pipe, with his gear and team mates behind him. In his memory bubble is of him sitting in a chair, while he is picking his young daughter up to sit on his lap. Under the caption the text reads" When the shades of night are falling, oft I dream that I am there, With my little baby kneeling by the side of Daddy's chair; Though her prayers are" God bless Daddy!" Not one whisper reaches me, But I know while she is praying what her prayers are sure to be: " God bless Daddy at the war!" Daddy knows, and God is near," God bless Daddy!" I can hear; What those lips are praying for us" God bless Daddy at War!" On the back is a stamp that reads "Printed In Britain".
