Scope & Content Made of Paper. Light brown rectangular piece of paper with black print on one side inside a black rectangular design border. At top - "Grand Benefit Concert to Miss Aggie Nicholson, the St. George Heroine, Town Hall, Friday, August 30th, Under the Patronage of His Worship Mayor Karn and Town Council.". At center - "Program." Listings of "Chairman's Address" and songs broken up into two parts by an "Intermission and Presentation". Listed in the proceedings are Miss Abel, Mr. Brown, Jim Fax, Miss Whitelaw, Miss Johnson, Frank Pilcher, J.M. Williams, A. Brown (same person?) And C.E. Griffin. At bottom "God Save the Queen. Mayor Karn, Chairman. Admission 25c. Reserved Seats, 50c. Plans at Woodroofe's.". At bottom outside border "Times Print.". On 1889-02-27 the St. Louis Express train derailed near the village of St. George, killing four Woodstock Councillors. The concert was held on the 2nd floor of the town hall. This program was found behind the stage in the Grand Hall, during the 1994 renovations.
