Scope & Content Made of Paper/Plastic/Glue. An oval decal with a silver background with black lettering and 3 red flashes. Paper backing peels off to reveal a sticky surface for attaching decal. In 1928 the Bickle Brothers hired their nephew Vernon B. King to design a complete line of custom Fire Apparatus. In 1935, the Bickle Fire Engine Ltd. Negotiated a manufacturing agreement with the Seagrave Corp. of Columbus, Ohio which was to provide joint benefits for almost 40 years. In 1962 King Seagrave Ltd. Moved to its new plant at 873 Devonshire Avenue in Woodstock and production continued to be evenly divided between fire apparatus, road salters, sanders and crash trucks.
