Title Cornerstone

Description A rectangular piece of white granite cut from a tombstone (one letter has been chiseled out, possibly indicating a spoiled tombstone). The top of the stone has bee cut off. It reads: "At Minneapolis on Dec. 18, 1886, Arthur M. (W) son of William and Jane Jackson, aged 23 years, 11 months, 21 Days". There is also a poem inscribed in stone (see file). Obverse reads: "AD 1843".
Provenance Cornerstone Jason Hay & Co. 1843 - Demolished 1958. Cornerstone laid some time in the 1887 or later.
