Description Hand sewn, white in color. Skirt is made of cotton eyelet. Side panels and the back are made with cotton. Has rounded neckline. Satin ribbon is threaded through the eyelet of the neckline. The ribbon is pastel pink. Short sleeves have eyelet edges. Eyelet trim is sewn from the waistband in the front over the shoulder to the back waistband. Edwardian in style. Back closure with three cotton covered buttons. Two buttons on the left side and one on the right at the waist. Buttons fit into cotton braided loops. Stamped in ink onto the fabric to the left of the back opening at the waist reads "J.H. Gunson". Printing is stamped upside down.
Provenance Ada Legacy is the mother of Janice Fisher. Mrs. Legacy passed away shortly after making her donation.
